Being new to Long Island, I researched so many flooring companies and vetted them through estimates/consultations. I chose KO flooring after seeing samples of their work, responsiveness to my inquiry (Nick answered my message immediately and made himself available to come to my home asap), family run business, and their willingness to accommodate my needs as a pregnant mother with a toddler. Nick and his father are both lovely people and practice what they preach when it comes to the “old school” mentality of delivering quality work and ensuring client satisfaction. There was one thing I was unhappy with upon delivery of service and he sent a worker back to fix it. This act speaks volumes, not only to his character, but his dedication to ensuring a happy client for years to come. Being a part time designer I’ve had dealings with plenty of craftsman and can assure you this was an excellent experience. If I had to do it again, I’d hire KO Flooring.

I hate home projects of this size and scale - but I can emphatically say Kevin's team was excellent. They were on time everyday, worked hard to get the job done - and were incredibly responsive. I had to have them move my furniture out and back into my home. They did a great job, were careful - and we love the way it came out. Well done, and highly recommended. Good guys who came through for us. You can see the obvious before and after. It's looks brand new.

We have a kitchen/dining room combo that had vinyl flooring over more vinyl flooring. There was a “hump” between the two rooms which caused the vinyl flooring to crack. The dining room section had the home’s original hardwood and the kitchen part had plywood. The recommendation was to rip up, level and install new oak floors. Well they did an amazing job. The transition was perfect. The original hardwood was actually going against the flow of the room. Ripping it out and laying the new flooring with the flow of the rooms made the overall space look amazing. They also had to go into my hallway area of my existing floor to match up to the new kitchen/dining room. Words and these pictures can’t describe their work. Kevin, Nick and their crew were all professional and took pride in their craftsmanship.

Nick and his crew installed hardwood floors and did an amazing job. They worked very hard to make sure that We were perfectly happy with every detail. They had to work with our 70 year old original floors and remove everything then replace it with new wood and stains. Of all the contractors we’ve ever had they’ve done the best job. I love love love my floors. We highly recommend Nick and his crew.

Did a beautiful job refinishing my mahogany deck. Sanding, fine sanding and then sealing . The crew was neat and professional ; they left no debris and their equipment captured all the dust /residue . We love the results !

Had an old hardwood floor that needed restoring in my grandmother's home. KO Floors did a fantastic job making the floors look like new again. Came on time and were very professional and sensitive to my grandmother's concerns, which I appreciated. I would highly recommend them if you need work done!
